Six New Barbers Complete N'shira Role Model & Event Management Foundation's Barbering for Beginners Program.
N'shira Role Model and Event Management Foundation proudly announces the successful completion of six aspiring barbers from its intensive Barbering Program, held in collaboration with Kuts On Da Go. The program, which ran from November 4th, 2025 to April 2nd, 2026, marks a milestone in the Foundation’s commitment to empowering individuals through skill-based education and professional development.
Over the course of five months, participants underwent rigorous training designed to equip them with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the art and craft of barbering. The curriculum focused on essential barbering techniques, hair care, hygiene standards, customer service, and professional ethics; ensuring that each graduate is well-prepared to enter the industry with confidence and competence.
The program was led by experienced instructors Mr. Davy Gumbs and Ms. Khalinia Brown, whose dedication and mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping the students’ growth and success. Through their guidance, the participants were able to refine their skills, build discipline, and develop a strong foundation in barbering.
Despite the challenges that come with mastering a new skill, all six participants demonstrated perseverance, commitment, and passion; successfully completing both the practical and theoretical components of the program.
