Our HR and Management Assistant, Euritce Armando, represented Papyrus Group at the 5th Annual Local Content Conference, held on March 26-27, 2026, at Tenda da Ilha in Luanda.

Organized by ANPG in partnership with Sonangol E.P. and under the patronage of MIREMPET, this major industry event brought together over ๐Ÿ,๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ+ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, government entities, regulators, and operators under the theme "Local Content - A National Commitment."

The conference evaluated five years of progress since the implementation of ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ/๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ, which established the Local Content Legal Framework for Angola's oil and gas sector.

Last week, April 6, 2026, TAAG - Linhas Aรฉreas de Angola inaugurated its direct Luandaโ€“Abidjan route, marking ๐š ๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ข๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐›๐ž๐ญ๐ฐ๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐€๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฅ๐š ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ˆ๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ.

The route will operate with three weekly flights, and the first flight carried 104 passengers. A strong signal of interest and demand for this new connection.

This new connection is the result of 14 bilateral agreements signed last year between the two countries, aimed at deepening commercial, economic, and cultural relations.

MAEF/Sonangol R&P Corporate Cup: Sport Bringing Companies Together ๐Ÿ

On March 7, 2026, Papyrusgrp participated in the MAEF/Sonangol R&P Corporate Cup, a beach volleyball tournament held at Ilha do Cabo in Luanda.

Six companies competed throughout the day:

From 9 AM to 1 PM, teams battled across two courts in a round robin format followed by semifinals and finals. The energy was incredible, and our team gave their best on the sand.

This event was more than competition. It was about teamwork, respect, and building connections across the energy and business sectors in Angola. Sport has a unique way of uniting people and strengthening the values we share. ๐Ÿ’ผ
