Canopy management. With cooler temperatures this week, we have been busy with shoot positioning and the first round of shoot thinning, resulting in better air flow. It also directs the energy into shoots that will bear grapes. It is all about timing 🍇🍇🍇

We can feel the energy and life in our young vineyard, we see strong growth in the unusally hot spring weather. We have removed all the superfluous shoots and set the base for building the trunk. We're so excited 😃

In the second racking, the tartrates are removed and wine aerates. We let gravity do the work. It is the final racking of the 2025 St. Laurent before we bottle this elegant and fine wine in September 🍷

Vintage 2026 - the spring sun is flooding our young vineyard. There is a gracile scent of moisture in the air. We are ready for the continuous manual work in the coming weeks and months 🍇

Just before budbreak in our young vineyard - the buds are now covered with downy hair. The dormant grapevines awaken, soon, new shoots will begin to emerge, the active growth cycle starts. New energy for the 2026 growing season! Very are very excited 🍇😃☀️
