Strong team. Looking ahead together. 🤝

HIRSCH Servo CEO Wolfgang Landler used his visit to Erlenbach GmbH in Lautert as an opportunity for a personal exchange with the newly established management team, consisting of Christian Schmidt and Stefan Högel.

As a long-standing employee of Erlenbach GmbH, Christian Schmidt knows the company, its processes and structures inside out. Having led production at Erlenbach for many years, he brings extensive operational experience as well as deep technical and organisational expertise to his new role.

Stefan Högel took over the role of CFO in July. He brings broad experience, particularly in finance, strategy and M&A within international corporations. With his financial and strategic expertise and international background, he is an ideal addition to the management team.

The visit was accompanied by Gunther Kranabether, Managing Director of HIRSCH Maschinenbau GmbH in Glanegg, Austria, and HIRSCH Erlenbach Sales GmbH in Abstatt, Germany.

The personal exchange on site underlines the importance we place on close collaboration, clear responsibilities, and combining long-standing experience with fresh perspectives within our technology division.

Smart investments. More capacity for future growth.

A great reason to visit our colleagues at Terrasit insulation in Bosnia and Herzegovina 🇧🇦 : HIRSCH Servo CEO Wolfgang Landler joined TERRASIT Managing Director Osman Tukić to mark the successful commissioning of a new Hetech Group shape molding line for the production of system boards for underfloor heating.

The new line doubles TERRASIT’s production capacity in this segment and marks an important step in strengthening our position in the Southeast European market.

TERRASIT has been part of the HIRSCH Servo Group since 2026. Founded in 2000, the company produces high-quality EPS and EPP solutions for the construction, industrial and packaging sectors – including insulation boards, underfloor heating systems, technical molded parts and customized packaging solutions.

This latest milestone is a great example of what we can achieve by combining local market expertise with the strength of an international group: targeted growth, efficient production and even greater proximity to our customers. 🌍

20 Years HIRSCH in Romania 🇷🇴

When we started in Romania in 2006, we had one location and a clear conviction: being close to our customers means being present in their markets.

Two decades later, that conviction has taken shape in five production sites across the country. Each new plant was a response to real demand, real partnerships and the work of people who built this business on the ground. Today, HIRSCH Porozell Romania is one of the strongest pillars of our international network — and a good example of what long-term commitment to a market can achieve. 💪

Reducing emissions begins with understanding them. That's why we work on both levels: the Corporate Carbon Footprint and the Product Carbon Footprint. Analysing emissions across the company and down to the single product creates the basis for informed decisions, targeted improvements and more sustainable supply chains.

For us, transparency is not the end goal. It's the starting point for progress.

30 Years HIRSCH in Hungary 🇭🇺: A Milestone in the HIRSCH Journey

With the opening of our first production site outside our headquarters in Glanegg in 1996, we took our first step toward becoming an international group. At the same time, we entered the Hungarian market - a decision that laid the foundation for decades of successful growth.

That first expansion has evolved into a global footprint of 35 production sites across 11 countries. 🌍

We are especially proud that Hirsch Porozell Kft., now operating three locations in Hungary, has become an integral part of our international family and continues to contribute to our shared success.

Looking back, this milestone reminds us that every journey starts with a single step. Looking ahead, we remain committed to driving innovation, strengthening partnerships and shaping the future together. 🤝

🏄 Not a usual application ...

So, can you surf on expanded polystyrene? Yes, you can.
Our colleagues at HIRSCH Isolation in France made this surfboard from EPS, based on renewable raw materials from biomass, with a significantly improved carbon footprint.

Developed for buildings.
Works on waves, too.

At these temperatures, we'd rather have water under our feet anyway. 🌊

.. about using less. It's about keeping materials in use!

For HIRSCH, circular economy is not a concept, it's daily practice. We focus on solutions that enable reuse, recycling and waste reduction in real industrial processes: returning EPS into production, running functioning recycling models, minimising material loss along the way.

Our goal is clear: keep valuable materials in circulation as long as possible and use fewer new resources wherever feasible.
