As part of our project for the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Chile, Werner and Max recently visited the La Silla site to assess the existing infrastructure for the cooling, heating, and hot water supply โ and to define the next steps for improving energy efficiency.
The plan includes the implementation of new, automated systems to reduce energy consumption, along with the integration of a photovoltaic system โ enabling the direct use of solar energy on site.
In close collaboration with the client, key functions and safety mechanisms were aligned โ paving the way for a resilient and future-ready system at one of the most extraordinary locations on Earth. ๐๐
