For 30 years, XAL has been working with lighting designers, architects and planners to develop custom luminaires of the highest technical standard, which impress with their style and aesthetics. Improved lighting quality, permanently reduced costs. For the Neunkirchen Hospital project, 260
luminaires were upgraded with customised LED conversion kits. Electricity costs have been reduced by around 64 percent per month. Our service included the development of a customised conversion inset for a 1:1 replacement without much effort. As only the inner workings were replaced and not
the entire luminaire, this is a very sustainable approach. For maximum well-being for patients, visitors, and staff.

Lighting renovation best practice. At TU Darmstadt, around 1,500 existing MINO 60 luminaires, originally fitted with T5 bulbs, dating from 2012, were upgraded to the latest technical standards using custom-made LED conversion kits. The LED module enables a 1:1 replacement, making the renovation resource-saving, efficient and cost-effective. At the same time, LED technology reduces energy consumption and improves the lighting quality.

At TU Darmstadt, around 1,500 existing MINO 60 luminaires, originally fitted with T5 bulbs, dating from 2012, were upgraded to the latest technical standards using custom-made LED conversion kits. The freely combinable optics mean that a luminaire can be adapted to meet a range of requirements – from downlights to wallwashers.
