𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗼! 🚀

Three days full of meetings, networking and inspiring conversations.
To be honest, it felt a bit like business speed dating. Every 20 minutes a new founder, a new startup, a new idea. Sometimes AI, then eHealth, then EdTech, mobility, food innovation or cybersecurity. Keeping up the focus all day long was definitely a challenge, but it was worth every minute.
Our locatio expert Natascha Zmerzlikar met some truly exciting companies, including BizzyNow, Sirius Game, JST 3D, Catch Solve, Free Eat and Alpike, as well as many other innovative startups and scale-ups with fantastic products and ideas.

Now the next phase begins: exploring how Austria can support these companies with market entry, partnerships, research collaborations and business opportunities.

One thing Natascha learned during my stay: South Tyrol and Carinthia have a lot in common. Beautiful landscapes, innovative companies, entrepreneurial spirit and a strong quality of life.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Yesterday, Klagenfurt welcomed a Latvian business delegation led by Ambassador Inga Ulmane and organised by Honorary Consul Wolfgang C.A. Lattacher.

📱The delegation's focus was on Smart Cities, Sustainable Mobility, Software Development and Intelligent Traffic Monitoring — all areas that are becoming increasingly important for the future of urban development.

During visits to Philips Klagenfurt, ASFINAG, Lakeside Science & Technology Park and MOBIREG, participants exchanged ideas on innovation, mobility solutions, digital technologies and future collaboration opportunities.

Representing the City of Klagenfurt, Natascha Zmerzlikar (Invest in Klagenfurt) and Dr. Georg M. Eichler (IPAK) discussed possibilities for future cooperation between Latvian and Klagenfurt-based companies, institutions and innovation partners.

👉A particularly interesting topic was Intelligent Traffic Monitoring. Together with IPAK, the City of Klagenfurt will now explore opportunities for cross-border collaboration and potential European projects in this field.
