Agrinz, the selected Technology Provider for the industrial waste processing biogas plant ‘San Martin” in Nicaragua.

Agrinz Technologies has been awarded to provide the technology and the entire project engineering for a new industrial waste processing biogas plant in Nanadaime, Nicaragua.

The plant that will be the first of its kind in the country will be producing 4.150.000 Nm³ biogas per year. The feedstock, an average of 150 tones per day will comprise slaughterhouse and tannery waste.

The Project is commissioned by Industrial Commercial San Martin S.A. (ICSM), a beef processing and dairy product company. The produced biogas will be utilised by ICSM to substitute the expensive and harmful to the environment diesel fuel currently used in its boilers; transformed into electricity and heat via a CHP. Combined heat and power or CHP integrates the production of usable heat and power, in one single, highly efficient process.

The Project is scheduled to commence in Spring 2015.

Successful start up of the 3rd biogas plant in Canada from Agrinz Technologies.

After a one-year construction time, Agrinz did the start-up of their 3rd biogas plant in Canada. The plant “Biogas Plant Elmira” processes 70.000 t/a of waste materials and produces power of 2.8 MWel. The plant is able to energetically utilize almost all kinds of organic waste like packed food, food leftovers, organic industrial waste etc.
