We are architects & engineers teamed up to create objects of art that distinctively reflect some elements of recognized cultural heritages. We call this undertaking "tuning cultural heritage". A technical description would be, lending special attention partially or fully to architectural conceptions embedded in monuments already standing. A virtual example would be to redesign an element of a structure in the Alhambra or Bete Amanuel in a way that it still reflects the beauty & resonance without losing the instant recognition of its origin. That is why we call the link to the old masterpieces "reflective architecture". The inspiration to this came while working in Hong Kong. It was a unique experience to see Asian artworks and architectural elements of historical (to some extent national) value, being reflected or at times even glorified in day to day items, especially by Japanese & Korean architects & artists. In many cases the argument sounds very much similar to the themes of Hundertwasser, Brauer or even Ai Wei Wei. The principal work lies in the design & development of physical objects whose distinctive composition & form finds recognizable application on lifestyle objects, like items of interior design & decoration, textiles, glass, metal, porcelain art, etc. The process starts basically with simple sketches & progresses to graphics & modelling using the ultimate technology as well as most appropriate material available to us.
