When crops look pale, most assume the soil needs more fertiliser. But the real problem is often timing: it was applied without checking the weather first.

Too much sun or a heavy storm can wipe out the nutrients. The rain washes them away, or the heat makes them disappear into the air. By the time the leaves turn pale, it’s already too late. That’s where METOS comes in. Our solutions help farmers see changes coming, so they can pick the best moment to feed their crops.

At the recent From Seeds to Foods event by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) , we explored the journey that connects agriculture and the food we bring to our tables. METOS contributes to this journey by helping farmers make informed decisions based on reliable field data, manage weather-related risks and use resources more efficiently. Because nourishing tomorrow starts with the decisions we make today.
