Maybe the part of the day when people nowadays actually work, i.e. do what they were supposed to do, is not that small (white). However, it has decreased a lot during past years. What could we do to increase it? Reduce the time spent on commuting perhaps? I do not believe that banning mobile devices or access to internet is a solution....

When was the last time you were in a meeting where either:
1. decisions helped your business to take a large leap towards company vision?
2. decisions where clearly in line with the reason why your business exists (your mission)?
3. decisions contributed noticeably to the implementation of your strategy?
..one could provocatively ask that, if the meeting did not result clear decisions and if the decisions did not contribute to at least to one of the above, what was the point of having the meeting?

Getting six hours of sleep a night simply isn't enough for you to be your most productive. In fact, it's just as bad as not sleeping at all.
