As some of you have already seen, on December 12th, CMS was acquired by Thorlabs Inc. and has now been rebranded as Thorlabs Crystalline Solutions (https://lnkd.in/gxsyWRY). Going forward, we will maintain our presence in Santa Barbara and our substrate-transferred crystalline coatings products and services will be offered as part of their extensive product portfolio.

Many of you are likely already familiar with Thorlabs, an internationally-renowned and vertically-integrated manufacturer. The addition of our unique capabilities enhances their catalog and custom offerings, further cementing their position as the go-to supplier for components and instruments involving the generation, control, and detection of photons.

There will be little to no changes to our technical offerings in the near term. With Thorlabs, we will gain tremendously from their in-house resources with the potential to vastly expand our customer base, leading to further proliferation of our novel coating technology.

In closing, we would like to thank everyone that played a role in our very exciting journey over these last 6 years. As stated in our press release (https://lnkd.in/gMaSPGf) we are truly thrilled to be part of the Thorlabs family!

Thorlabs Crystalline Solutions offers high performance, single-crystal mirror coatings and novel manufacturing processes tailored to meet your unique requirements. Our expertise in optical system design and advanced microfabrication techniques, including adhesive-free direct bonding services, enable
