Today we take a moment to acknowledge International Women’s Day 🙌

A day to celebrate the achievements of women in our industry and thank those who support and uplift them.

Meet our first all-female crew to operate a flight on the Q400 aircraft last year for , the Rex Group’s charter/FIFO airline.

“It was a very special and memorable flight for the whole crew, knowing that we were the first but most certainly not the last is a great feeling. I couldn’t have asked for a more capable and friendly crew to mark this moment”, said Captain Charlee Hateley, who is also first female Captain on the Q400 in Australia with NJE.

We hope the success of the talented women across our industry empowers and inspires the next generation of women to pursue careers in aviation – the sky’s not the limit.

NJE ROUTE LAUNCH & FLEET EXPANSION ✈️🗺️

NJE has just launched regular E190 services between Perth and West Musgrave, WA, landing on a brand new airstrip on Monday.

That’s the third new destination for NJE in the past month, alongside Gruyere and Gladstone which were also added to the NJE network recently.

Alongside our network growth, NJE’s fleet also continues to climb – an additional E190 touched down this week, bringing the E190 fleet to seven aircraft

We’re thrilled to add Perth to Ravensthorpe services to our network, flying six weekly charter services with our Embraer E190 jets. ✈️

We're starting new charter flights between Perth and Kalgoorlie and Kambalda for a mining company in the Goldfields region, as well as new charter flights between Perth and Woodie Woodie for Consolidated Minerals.

NJE is rapidly becoming the first port of call for resource companies seeking premium, safe and reliable air services in modern aircraft with a greatly reduced carbon footprint.

Over the past fortnight, NJE’s ninth De Havilland Dash 8-400 was delivered, bringing the total NJE fleet to 22 aircraft. ✈️

Emerald also put on a spectacular sunset for NJE's first flight from Brisbane (pictured here), and we also launched new flights from Brisbane to Rockhampton!
..And there’s no sign of things slowing down just yet, as NJE moves from strength to strength as part of the Rex Group.
