Do you have a hobby?

Sometimes if you don't have an outlet the mind wanders to places that you don't need to go to.

Hobbies can be calming, or it can be adrenaline pumping!

Part of my Christmas presents was the hobby of candlemaking.
Here is a pic of the first candle I made.
Colourful and even though it doesn't smell like I wanted it to, it's a good first attempt.

Are you on relax mode?

Another Christmas is done and soon it will be time for New Year celebrations.

This time of year is good to recharge from the challenges thrown at us during the year.

It is also the time to unwind with family and get in touch with what is truly important in life.

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas celebration despite Covid and I hope everyone has plans to bring in the new year with family and friends.

Is it this time of year for you?

The year is winding down to a close and with that so is everyone's work efficiency.

Completely normal mind you.
Each business will be coming to a close and getting ready for the new year!

The new year shall bring more changes more challenges, embrace it!

But for now, enjoy the wind down at work and the ramp up of Christmas and the parties!!

The harsh truth is that having it all is hard, especially in this day with the way money is these days

These days it's hard, the cost of living compared to an average person's income makes it hard to be able to have it all.

I'm here to say it's possible.

Do you have an attitude thats affecting your problems?

We will always have issues in our lives, problems that need to be solved and yet, the trouble are never these things. The problem is always the attitude that you convey towards them.

Change your attitude and you may find that your problems are not as insurmountable as you originally thought.

When was the last time you saw your best friend?

For me, before this reunion, it had been 2 years.
Covid have been tough on a lot of sides, work, family and friends.

It's so important to seize the chance and make everything count as opposed to wondering what if.

With borders being so difficult and closing at the drop of the hat, we still chose to jump at the opportunity to see each other and it was worth it.

Will you be seeing your best friend anytime soon?

Sometimes it's easy to look behind you to see how it used to be, what you used to be, be like.

What I can tell you is, don't be scared to look forward into the future, as scary as it can be.

Take it like a viking, like you're holding onto an axe, ready to kill it!

What are you scared to achieve?

This is from my all time favourite author and she knocks it on the head in her amazing, gripping way.

Everyone has dreams, dreams of what they want to do with their life, be in their life; but not many achieve it.

Do you want to know why?
Because this is also what they fear the most.
Fear of putting in the work, fear of others opinion of their dream.
If you think about it, deep down you know it's true.

The question is, are you ready to let go of that fear and go for what you want?
