Need a real reason for us to inspect your solar?
A solar panel safety device designed to protect firefighters from electric shock is behind an alarming increase in rooftop blazes, with incidents jumping more than 500 per cent in the past three years while the rate of safety inspections has decreased.

Fire and Rescue NSW data shows firefighters attended 139 solar panel fires last year, compared to 22 in 2018 and 56 in 2019. There have already been 18 fires to January 26 this year.

Lara Tilbrook (in the below article) hired our services on Kangaroo Island immediately after the bushfires, to help eradicate predating feral cats on her property and area. Typically the ABC won’t mention businesses by name so we missed a direct plug.
Whilst we have a proven system, it was disappointing to be met with so much resistance, white anting by other local organisations and little interest by government departments to get onboard when the timing was so critical. Big organisations are too slow moving and the window of opportunity shrinks quickly. Hat tip to Lara for being so proactive at such a time of high-stress and dealing with her own property being burned out.

Endangered species are being pushed to the brink of extinction on Kangaroo Island by feral cats, with the deadly summer bushfires making the problem much more serious, conservationists have warned.

Have you ever checked your solar panels?
Are they actually working?

Book an inspection https://dronepro.com.au/
We can detect faulty panels and get them replaced if needed.

Australia's solar industry could be in for a major shakeup, with the Energy Minister ordering an independent inquiry into the sector's sales techniques, financing practices and defective installations.

Cutting edge bird deterrent technology in trials. These sensors detect and identify bird species as they fly in to the property to settle on fruit crops. Very cleaver algorithms select appropriate action for distress calls and predator calls and eventually will be fitted to our drones as another level intervention.

A timely reminder of the impacts of feral cats – this image was captured by Parks and Wildlife Service, Western Australia showing a freshly killed threatened Chuditch carried by a feral cat in Western Australia’s Dryandra Woodlands.

Across Australia the toll of feral cats on our remarkable wildlife is significant. According to Australia's leading scientists, more than 3.1 million mammals, like this Chuditch, are killed by cats each day.

But progress is being made to tackle this threat. The Australian Government has established ambitious targets under the Threatened Species Strategy including culling 2 million cats, establishing five feral cat-free islands, and establishing 10 mainland feral cat-free wildlife enclosures.

The national control effort is making a difference for local populations. In Dryandra, the impact of cats has been greatly reduced as a result of targeted cat and fox baiting delivered through the WA Government’s Western Shield program with support from the Australian Government. This effort has supported populations of native animals like the Chuditch, Numbat and Woylie who call this area home. Woylie populations living in the Dryandra Woodlands have increased from 342 individuals in February 2014 to more than 6500 by April 2018.
