Notice the ZJBeny Isolators and covers (Industry best and used as standard equipment at Best Energy) and the absence of any conduit on the roof. Government STC Credits are reducing.
At the beginning of 2021, as is the case every new year, the Government assigned STC (Small Scale Technology Certificates) credits are reducing from 100 credits for a 6.6kw system in SA to 91 credits. The credits are sold on the market and proceeds are allocated to your purchase price, resulting in less out of pocket costs to the buyer of a Solar System. With a current trading price of around $37 per credit (as of Nov 2020), the reduction next year will result in approximately $333 (for a 6.6kW) up to $999 (for a 19.8kW) less rebate available to the public for the supply and install of their Grid Connected Solar, resulting in higher 'out of pocket' cost for the consumer.
If you are seriously considering Solar please contact your preferred supplier and request your install is done before 31st December 2020.

Solar Power to the Maximum

Best Energy just finished the installation of a massive 19.8kW system on a high end property in Medindie using a top of the range 15kW FRONIUS 3 Phase Inverter. Upon initial startup it ramped up to full production within seconds and produced 88kW of power from midday till sunset. More than enough energy to power the large home and export to the grid for a bit of extra return to the customer. Combined with Emberpulse, this customer now has full control of their energy use.
