2025 Rebula Adelaide Hills

Golden‑yellow despite ten weeks on skins. Chamomile, elderflower and light nuttiness. Round, soft palate with a subtle saline finish. Extremely versatile.

2024 Deda Roussanne/Marsanne Barossa Valley

Intensely honeyed nose, yet bone dry. Deep gold, smooth and creamy in texture. Full‑bodied with long, persistent finish.

2023 Glenbrook Syrah Adelaide Hills

A new site but true to our style: extended maceration, bright fruit, and savoury complexity. A seamless continuation of the Forreston spirit.

2023 Lyndoch Syrah Barossa Valley

Organically farmed. Blackberry, blueberry and gentle earthiness. Plush, approachable, softer in feel yet balanced and restrained.

2023 Maywald 1926 Syrah Barossa Valley

Old vines, contemporary style. Barossa richness meets elegance, freshness and savoury lift. Complex and built to age.

2023 Phoenix Syrah Eden Valley

Classic Eden Valley florals with graphite, iodine and black pepper. Silky tannins, juicy‑spicy palate, energetic and refined.

We are very proud of these wines and we hope you will enjoy them as much as Timna and I do.🍷

The mention of Australian Shiraz doesn’t conjure much excitement amongst winelovers these days. The lust for big, bold, high octane reds has long past and, although they are wonderful in their own right, have clearly fallen out of fashion amongst young drinkers, and sadly a lot of the wine media too. It takes a very driven and courageous individual to choose South Australian Shiraz as their champion nowadays, but thank god we have some of the best in the business to keep this awesome variety on the world stage. You can say what you like about Grenache, but the king of South Australia is, and will always be Shiraz!

Winemakers Igor and Timna are doing things right. Exceptional vineyard management, precise wine making, respect for expressing terroir and an unwavering devotion to craft the most refined expressions from the Barossa, Eden Valley and Adelaide Hills. They learnt their craft working under the likes of Domaine Jean-Louis Chave (FRA), Jonata (USA), Powell & Sons, Penfolds and Sons of Eden (AUS), and it shows. Each wine is what I would call ‘meticulous’ and captures the depth and complexities of each region, all the while retaining freshness, structure and great finesse.

I had the chance to sit with Igor, and his beautiful new releases, and I didn’t stop smiling looking through them all. I’ll release notes on my favourite picks over the next few days, so stay tuned, and if you are someone that enjoys Standish or Sami-Odi, you simply must put Iggy Wines on your radar. I can’t recommend these wines highly enough and hope you give them a try ❤️

It’s been a big week for our small operation. It’s not often you find yourself bottling and picking from the same vineyard on the same day. Definitely not planned, yet somehow, we made it work. But the real story isn’t the long hours, it’s the vineyard itself.

This moment marks a new beginning. The Adelaide Hills property that supplied fruit for our Forreston Syrah has changed hands, and the vines at the top of the ridge in Block 11 have now been pulled out. That meant finding a new site in the northern Hills with that same special character. Fortunately, I didn’t have to look far.

Just 2.5 km away, as the crow flies, sits Glenbrook. A vineyard that once inspired and guided my former grower, Chris. Here, Brad and his skilled team produce some of the highest‑quality fruit in the region. I’m grateful to once again mark out my two rows of Syrah.

Introducing the next chapter: 2023 Iggy Wines Glenbrook Adelaide Hills Syrah.

Stay tuned for the official release.
