AREA INTELLIGENCE TEMPLATE

Hello everyone, I've been working on a area intelligence template for the last few weeks for anyone who needs the assistance on what to include in their area study.

An area study is a structured record of the important information about a location that could affect safety, movement, communications, access to services, and emergency decision making. It helps individuals, families, or groups understand the area they live in, work in, or may need to travel through during a disaster or major disruption.

A good area study identifies local risks such as bushfires, floods, severe weather, industrial hazards, crime, road closures, and infrastructure failures. It also records useful resources, including hospitals, police stations, pharmacies, fuel stations, water sources, evacuation centres, radio repeaters, emergency frequencies, supply locations, and possible shelter or relocation areas.

The study should also cover practical planning information such as primary and alternate routes, traffic choke points, bridges, terrain, communications coverage, meeting locations, and potential bug-out destinations. Maps, contact details, vehicle information, member medical requirements, and PACE communication plans can also be included.

The purpose of an area study is not to predict every emergency. It is to reduce confusion and improve decision making by gathering important local information before it is urgently needed.

Free to anyone who wants to take the first step into emergency preparedness. This is a template, you need to put in the work in research in your local area and state.

Zero Disaster Australia has created a free State Frequency Sheet PDF for each Australian state.

These sheets are designed to help people take their first step into the communications side of preparedness. They give you a starting point for useful radio information across HF, VHF, UHF, AM/FM, weather, emergency monitoring, marine, aviation and other useful services. Why wait for a disaster to acquire then juggle around trying to learn about communications?

Ideally these fact sheets are for anyone
Families wanting to be better prepared
Travellers and campers
Radio hobbyists
Preparedness groups
Anyone wanting to stay informed during storms, bushfires, floods, power outages or mobile network outages.

Communications preparedness can feel overwhelming at first. These frequency sheets are designed to make the first step easier by helping you understand what may be available to listen to, what radios may be useful, and how radio can support situational awareness during emergencies.

After a break in service, Zero Disaster Australia is back.

We are coming back with a fresh approach, a new website that is almost complete, and a real focus on going above and beyond for our customers.

ZDA is still a one man show, but I am committed to serving our customers the best I can and continuing to build something practical, honest, and useful for Australians who want to be better prepared.

We will also be starting a YouTube channel focused on Australia-specific gear, equipment, and practical preparedness. The goal is to help educate people, share what actually works, and build a stronger community around being prepared without the fear-based nonsense.

Fuel restrictions due to middle east war.

There is some major concerns in the fuel supply for Australia! We get our energy resources from the middle east and it is processed in Singapore!

In the last 24 hours the organisation that monitors vessels around the world has done an investigation in the region of the middle east.
Their conclusion is that there is and has been GPS manipulation and jamming in the Middle East region.

Would you believe that there is a agenda to minimise the panic of the energy resources we have. Do you believe we have 30 days fuel supply?

This is definitely going to get more concerning over the next few weeks.
Believe it or not but there is plans in place like what the government imposed over c
Covid 19 and they will use what they did in past crisis in the coming weeks.

- There will be odds and evens when you can buy fuel.
- They will encourage working from home.
- Essential workers will be granted access for restricted items.

These guidelines are from whispers from insider of government and people working in industry.

I just want to say my two cents:

1. Australia does not get the crude oil from Singapore, Australia gets most of its fuel supply from Singapore whom refined the oil that was shipped from the middle east.
2. Panic buying is not the reason we have hight fuel prices and short supply, that is the media and social media industries hyping that it is the panic buyers fault... WRONG!
3. Rebekha Sharkie federal MP for MAYO, South Australia has been calling for years about Australian fuel supply and security. Yet it fell on death ears.
5. Has anyone woken up from Covid 19? Did the government and or families and individuals not realise that from top to bottom our supply chain is broken?
