Are you saying yes to things that don't really align with the path you want to be on? Are you saying yes too often? Scared of saying no?

Remember there are only so many hours in the day and you only have so much energy each day. So say NO more often so you can have the energy and time to say YES to more of the things that align with who you are and who you want to be. NO is not a bad word! ๐Ÿ™…

There are 24 hours in the day right? Finding time for self development can be almost impossible with a busy life but what if I told you that there is always time somewhere for this? โฐ๏ธ

Change your environment so that there are multiple opportunities throughout the day for you to be positively influenced.

โ— Post your favourite quotes on your fridge so it's the first thing you see ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
โ— Play some motivational or inspiring music while you shower ๐Ÿšฟ
โ— Listen to your favourite podcast (doesnt have to be mine๐Ÿ˜‰) while you drive to work ๐Ÿš—
โ— Listen to an ebook while you do your house work ๐Ÿ“–
โ— Make your screensaver on your phone a picture that makes you smile ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Mindset Tip:

None of us can control what thoughts enter our mind. So rather than struggle and try and push uncomfortable thoughts away, try the following strategy.

Firstly acknowledge the thought, giving it space to be recognised. You're not dwelling on the thought, and you are not saying the thought is true, you are simply acknowledging that it's there.

Next shift that focus and energy into something productive. This can be a mindfulness activity to bring your focus to something else, or countering that thoughts with a positive alternative.

An example could be I'm having the thought that I have not done enough work today, the counter thought to this would be bringing my focus to the things I have done rather than the things I haven't.

So next time an uncomfortable thought enters your mind, don't fight it, try shifting your focus instead. ๐Ÿค”
