Strategy and clarity before building. On Course Projects helps business owners turn their expertise into clear, structured online programs. If you’ve been thinking about creating a course or program but you’re not quite sure how to shape it, structure it, or get started - that’s exactly what I help with. Through guided strategy sessions, I help you clarify what your program actually is, who it’s f

A lot has changed in my business this year - so I wanted to share what I actually do now - and who it's for.

Hi, I’m Valeska - and I help business owners turn their expertise into clear, structured online programs.

If you’ve been sitting on a course idea for a while - maybe you have notes, lesson ideas, or even a rough plan - but when you try to actually move forward, everything starts to feel a bit tangled...

That’s exactly what I help with.

A lot of the people I work with come in thinking they need help with the tech - choosing a platform, getting it all online. But once we start talking, they realise the real starting point is the thinking that needs to happen first.

To clarify what the program actually is.
To get really specific about who it’s for.
To shape the structure of the program.
All of this helps map out a practical plan to bring it to life.

Because once the thinking is clear, everything else gets easier.

One client said something that’s stayed with me:
“I didn’t realise I needed someone to help me create a full strategy around it.”

That’s the work I love most ✨️
Helping people go from “I have this idea but I’m not sure how it all fits together” to “Oh... now I can see what this actually is.”

So if you’re a practitioner, consultant, educator, or specialist with knowledge to share - and you’re not quite sure how to turn it into something structured and teachable - I’d genuinely love to hear about what you’re working on.

Send me a DM or book a free connection call. The link’s in my bio.

No pressure. Just a conversation.

I almost didn’t post this video.

I recorded it completely unplanned.
No makeup, no perfect setup… and honestly I didn’t feel like I looked my best.

But the idea felt important and I wanted to share it before I lost the momentum.

What really drove me to record it was listening to a recent podcast episode by . She spoke about something I see come up for my clients all the time - and something I’m often encouraging them to try.

There’s this feeling that you need to have all your ducks in a row before you record your first lesson… or before you start showing up on video or sharing content.

You want to feel confident.
You want to know what you’re doing.
You want it to come across “right”.

In other words - you want it to be perfect.

But perfectionism is often the very thing that stops you before you even start.
And you don’t move past that barrier by polishing it more and more before you even hit record.

You get better by starting - by actually doing the thing.

You get better at showing up in front of the camera.
You get more confident.
You get clearer and more concise in how you deliver your message.

This is what I encourage clients to do. Just start.

Record that first messy draft lesson. Practise it. Watch it back. Notice what you like and what you'd do differently next time.

Because if you don’t start, you don’t really know what needs refining.

Forward momentum tends to come from beginning… and improving as you go.

So if you’ve been holding back because you’re waiting to feel completely ready — this might be the reminder you need.

And thank you Tash for the nudge to practise what I encourage others to do.

If you’re in the throes of developing an online program or offer (or even just thinking about it) and feeling stuck on how to move forward, I support clients to organise their ideas into a clear pathway so they can build confidence and momentum.

This year I’ve been spending more time in the car than I ever imagined.

Longer school drop-offs.
Longer pick-ups.
Earlier starts.
And noticeably fewer working hours.

Our daily rhythm has changed quite a lot.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t make life easier…
it just makes the next step obvious.

We made the decision to move one of our daughters to an alternative school.

It wasn’t a small shift.
And it hasn’t exactly made our days simpler.

But once we got really clear on the outcome we were hoping for -
her wellbeing, her engagement, her actually wanting to go to school -
the decision itself became much simpler.

Not easier.
But clearer.

And now that we’re in it…
we’re already seeing it was the right decision for her.
Which means it’s the right decision for all of us as a family.

What surprised me most is how quickly a plan forms once the real priority is obvious.

You start to see what needs to change.
What can wait.
What you’re willing to trade off.

I see this same pattern in business often too.

When the outcome isn’t clearly defined, everything feels heavier than it needs to.

Bigger.
Harder to move forward.

Ideas feel messy.
Decisions feel overwhelming.
Momentum disappears.

But when you step back and get truly clear on what you’re trying to create -
or what the real priority actually is -
the path forward becomes much easier to see.

Not always comfortable.
But possible.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do…
is pause long enough to find that clarity.

It doesn’t necessarily reduce the workload.
But it can help you put your energy in the right place.

🤍 I’d genuinely love podcast or audiobo
ok recommendations for all this extra car time too.

Something I see often with my clients

They have a brilliant idea
They open a blank doc
Or log into their platform
Or start outlining modules or writing lessons

And suddenly everything feels messy.

Not because their idea isn’t good
Or because they aren’t capable.

But because the thinking - the overall concept and structure - hasn’t been tightened yet.

What tends to work better?

💡 Clarity before content

Before modules
Before automations
Before design

If the outcome isn’t clearly outlined,
the scope isn’t defined,
and the audience isn’t specific (like… really specific)

It starts to feel big
And messy
Momentum disappears.

That’s when the stuck feeling creeps in.

And that’s usually the real bottleneck.

🤔 Have you ever started building something - only to realise you weren’t actually clear yet?

Last year was a big one.

Full of incredible clients, meaningful projects, and work I genuinely care about.

But if I’m honest… there were times I felt like I was chasing my tail. Constantly building. Constantly troubleshooting. Constantly “on.”

Nothing was wrong.

But something wasn’t quite right either.

Towards the end of the year, I took a step back and asked myself:

Where am I actually at my best?

Because I’m not just building a business… I’m building a life around it too. I have two kids and support commitments that matter deeply, and I want my work to fit inside that reality. Not fight against it.

And when I really looked at it, the answer was clear.

Not in the platform builds.
Not in trying to keep up with every tech update.

But in the thinking.

In helping someone take a powerful idea and turn it into something structured and focused.

In zooming out before we zoom in.

In tightening the scope and mapping a realistic path forward so they can build something intentional - and sustainable.

So that’s where I’m focusing this year.

Strategy. Clarity. Structure. Momentum.

And honestly? It feels really good.

And now I’m curious - does your business currently fit your life? Or is it fighting it?

Having a proud mum-like moment over here… 😍

My client has officially launched her new program Getting Aisle Ready — a one-stop shop for couples DIY-ing their wedding and wanting clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually makes sense.

I worked with behind the scenes to flesh out the strategy and ex*****on plan for Getting Aisle Ready, and I genuinely get so excited seeing it out in the world.

There’s not much that brings me more joy in my work than watching my clients take action and bring their ideas to life ✨

If you know a couple planning their own wedding, send them straight to The Aisle Agenda and Getting Aisle Ready 💍

Launching something new takes courage - go give her some love 💛

Today I was out getting a phone cover for a new phone, and the lady serving me was super helpful, really friendly. She let me know of all the Christmas deals available, not pushy but still offering the information to try and get the extra sales - exactly as she should be.

But the real sticking point for me, that I really applaud her for, was as I was leaving and she said "look, I'm trying to grow my business so if you wouldnt mind leaving a google review about me and my service, it would really help me so much."

As I was walking away, I thought man, how good is she! She knows she needs reviews to help grow her business and she ACTUALLY asked for it.

She provided me with good service and then she followed that up with an ask for a review.

And it got me thinking - how many of us business owners are providing great service or products to people and not asking for a review...?

If that's you, take inspiration from this and reach out to at least one person to ask for a review 🙌

P.S. Yes, I'll be leaving a review - but I wouldn't have thought if it if she didn't ask!

✨️

Over the past few years, I’ve sat alongside so many brilliant, big-hearted entrepreneurs as they’ve tried to bring their course ideas to life.

And almost every time, I see the same moment happen.

They’ll look at me, half-laughing and half-defeated, and say something like:

“𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘬𝘢… 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 - 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯.”

And honestly?
That moment is exactly why I created 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗽.

Because the overwhelm isn’t a sign that your idea isn’t good.
It’s a sign that you care about doing it well.

And sometimes you just need someone to make the steps feel lighter and more doable — so you can finally get moving.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗽 is a simple, friendly guide that walks you through the six key stages of course creation in a calm, clear way.
It’s the same structure I use with my clients when we sit down together to shape their ideas into something real and impactful.

And with December and January often being a time of reflection, planning, and a gentle shift in pace, it felt like the perfect time to share it.

So if you’ve had a course idea nudging at your brain (or your heart) for a while…
and you’d love a clear, doable path to get started…

👉 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗔𝗣 below and I’ll send it straight to your DMs.
(Or grab it via the link in my bio.)

I hope it brings you a sense of clarity and that “okay… I can actually do this” feeling.

I didn’t expect to walk away from the Tammy’s Table Jingle & Mingle with a Tammy’s Grammy… yet here we are.
And honestly? It meant more than I expected.

Tammy created her very own awards — light-hearted, a bit cheeky, and very “us.”
No applications, no judges, no submissions.
Just recognition for the people who show up, support others, and help make this community what it is.

Before the awards kicked off, Tammy said a few words about the facilitators — and hearing them felt really special:
“Our facilitators are business owners themselves, with empathy and real experience. They know our values, the heart of Tammy’s Table, and they’re genuine ambassadors of this community. We couldn’t support this many people without them.”

To be seen in that way — not just for what I do, but for how I show up — is something I don’t take lightly.

Facilitating these Tables has been one of the unexpected joys of my year.
Creating spaces where people feel welcome, supported, and included… that’s the stuff that fills my cup.
And to be recognised for it (with a tiny golden thumbs-up trophy no less 👍✨) was the loveliest surprise.

A huge thank you to Tammy for trusting me, and to every member who sits at the Table and brings their heart, their honesty, and their own unique experiences.

Here’s to more connection, more belonging, and more cheeky Grammys in 2026. 🧡

Have you ever been part of a community that made you feel truly seen?

Visibility and I have a complicated relationship… which is funny, because I tell my clients to show up all the time.
So seeing my journey across four pages of Soar Magazine (Issue 6, pages 10–13) feels both surreal and a little bit special.

When Carly, the heart and powerhouse behind and Soar, put the call out for contributors, something in me said, “OK, Valeska… it’s time.”

I actually put my hand up for the previous issue, but couldn’t quite get myself there.

This time, instead of letting the fear of visibility stop me again, I reached out to Kate a brilliant copywriter and storyteller, to help me pull it together in a way that felt like me.

Kate helped me reflect on a path that’s been anything but straight:
growing up in a small country town; a student exchange at 17 that changed how I saw myself and what was possible; and years of trying on different roles — sometimes out of curiosity, sometimes out of necessity — always with a quiet longing for something meaningful, with real purpose.

Delivering Joy was my first heart-led business, created out of love and loss. Closing it was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.
And then life nudged me somewhere unexpected — into course strategy, Kajabi builds, and supporting people bring their meaningful work to life through On Course Projects.

One of the parts I love most about the article is that it captures something I’ve always known quietly but never said out loud:
the work I do now makes sense because I’ve lived all these perspectives — the business owner, the backend builder, and the participant.
That combination is my sweet spot.

Reading it back reminded me that none of this was accidental. Every twist, even the hard ones, led me to where I can make the most impact:
helping heart-centred people bring their big ideas to life with clarity, structure, and support.

Carly, thank you for creating a platform that helps women be seen (even when visibility feels hard), and to Kate for helping me tell my story with heart.

Read the full article on pages 10–13 of Soar Magazine (Issue 6).

I’d love to know - what part of your own story has quietly shaped who you are today?

19/11/2025

I disappeared from social media for a little over three months — not intentionally, not strategically… just because everything felt too heavy to carry.

Life, family needs, business, clients, the mental load… it all stacked up.

I hit a point where I would try to show up online, but it just felt impossible.
I didn’t know what to say.
I didn’t know what mattered.
And honestly, I didn’t have anything left to give.

Then we travelled to the UK and Amsterdam for four weeks to visit family, and for the first time in a very long time… I stopped the doing.

I slept.
My body started to soften.
And in those slow moments — like watching my kids laugh with their grandparents after eight years apart — something shifted in me.

I realised how disconnected I’d become from myself and from them.
How much I’d been running on fumes.
How much the energy of our home mirrors mine.
And how easy it is, especially as a mum, to put yourself last for so long that you forget what it feels like to be present.

It’s confronting to admit, but true:
I can’t build a meaningful business if I’m constantly depleted.
I can’t guide my clients with heart if I have none left for myself.
And I can’t be the mother I want to be without space to breathe.

So I’m coming back to social media — gently.
No pressure to be perfect, consistent, or “strategic” straight out of the gate.

Just me, reconnecting with you, sharing the things that matter, and finding a rhythm that supports my family, my wellbeing, and the work I deeply care about.

If you’re in a season where you’ve had to step back, for whatever reason… you’re not alone.
And breaks — even unexpected ones — have a way of bringing us home to what matters.

If you’ve ever taken an unplanned break, I’d love to hear — what did it teach you?

I’m thrilled to introduce one of our wonderful facilitators at Tammy’s Table - Valeska Waldron of On Course Projects.

Valeska has been facilitating for over a year now, supporting our online group whenever I’m unable to attend. We also make sure she leads at least one session each quarter so our members stay connected with her and benefit from her incredible knowledge and experience.

Valeska is passionate about helping business owners build businesses that align with their values, vision, and the communities they care about. She believes that when your business and your heart are in sync - magic happens.

At Tammy’s Table, she brings that same heart-led approach to her role as Facilitator. She creates a safe, supportive space where business owners can pause from the day-to-day and focus on working on their business, not just in it.

I’m still very hands-on within the community, but it’s such a gift to have people like Valeska who share my values and can step in seamlessly when needed. I’m so grateful she said “yes” to being part of this journey.

Valeska knows firsthand the power of community, and she loves holding space for open, honest conversations about the wins, the challenges, and everything in between. 🧡
