One of the worst times to discover your borrowing capacity isn't what you expected?

After you've found the house you want.

If buying a home is on your radar, getting your finances assessed early can help you understand:

✅ Approximate borrowing capacity
✅ Deposit requirements
✅ Potential lender options
✅ What repayments could look like
✅ Any issues worth addressing before you make an offer

You don't need to be buying next week to start planning.

If you're thinking about buying in the next 6–12 months, message me BUYING and we can work out where you stand.

Spring can bring plenty of new properties onto buyers’ radars.

Before spending every Saturday at open homes, it can help to have a clearer idea of your borrowing position.

A pre-approval can give you an indication of how much a lender may be prepared to lend, subject to its conditions, and help you set a more realistic property budget.

Multiple repayments. Multiple interest rates. Multiple due dates.

It can get messy pretty quickly.

For some homeowners, consolidating eligible higher-interest debts into their home loan can reduce their required monthly repayments and simplify their finances.

But there's an important catch:

Turning short-term debt into long-term mortgage debt can mean paying more interest over time if it isn't structured correctly.

That's why I look at the total cost, not just the smaller repayment.

If you'd like to see whether debt consolidation makes financial sense for you, message me CONSOLIDATE.

Your home might be doing more heavy lifting than you realise. 🏠

If you've owned your property for a few years, you may have built up usable equity through a combination of property growth and paying down your loan.

Depending on your circumstances, that equity could potentially help with:

🏡 Purchasing an investment property
🔨 Renovations or improvements
💳 Consolidating eligible debts
💰 Restructuring your finances

But having equity doesn't automatically mean you should use it.

The first step is understanding how much you may have and what your options are.

Message me EQUITY if you'd like me to help you work it out.

Your bank probably won't send you a thank-you card for staying loyal. 😄

If you've had the same home loan for years, don't assume you're automatically getting the lender's best available deal.

Banks compete hard for new business, which makes it worth periodically comparing your current loan against what's available elsewhere.

Sometimes staying put makes sense.

Sometimes negotiating with your existing lender works.

And sometimes refinancing may produce a better outcome.

The important part is knowing which one applies to you.

Message me RATE CHECK and I can help you compare.

What would an extra $50 a week back in your household budget mean to you?

$100?

$200?

With the cost of living still putting pressure on household budgets, your mortgage is one of the biggest expenses worth reviewing.

A lower rate isn't the only possibility. Depending on your circumstances, restructuring loans or consolidating eligible debts could potentially improve monthly cash flow.

The key is working out whether the numbers actually stack up after costs.

If you'd like me to run the numbers on your current lending, message me CASH FLOW.

Before financing a vehicle, it’s worth checking more than just the sticker price.

Your budget, loan term, repayment structure and whether the vehicle is for personal or business use can all affect your options.

Quick question for homeowners… when did you last properly review your home loan?

Not just check the interest rate — actually review the whole loan.

Your current lender may no longer be the best fit, particularly if:

🏠 Your property has increased in value
💰 Your income has changed
📉 Your loan balance has reduced
💳 You have other debts you’d like to restructure
📆 You’ve been with the same lender for a few years

A home loan review can show you what your current position looks like and whether there are better options available.
