What an honour—and such a beautiful surprise to be featured in the Artistic Director’s statement in the program of West Australian Ballet. This truly means a lot.

We may be a small company today… but our vision is big. And it's happening!

Behind the scenes, it’s endless hours, personal capital investment, risks, and an unwavering belief in something greater.

I am committed to taking this company off the ground, not for me, but for the next generation of dancers in South Australia to have employment right here at home. For local artists to collaborate and create. For our community to experience ballet throughout the year.

Classical ballet deserves a place in South Australia’s cultural landscape.

We all have to start somewhere…

Honoured to be invited as Classical Ballet Judge for the World Ballet Crown – South Australia State Finals.

Supporting initiatives that create opportunities for dancers is something I deeply believe in.

Experiences like this once changed the direction of my own life. One opportunity, one audition, one teacher believing in you can make all the difference.

I recently heard someone, a fellow artist, say that no one cares about opera or ballet anymore.

Art speaks many languages. None is greater than the other.

All of them matter, we care!!!

As artists, our responsibility is not to diminish one another’s art, but to honour the courage, discipline, dedication and humanity it takes to create.

Ballet has always mattered.

And it always will. 🩰💞
