Have you or your employees ever experienced burn out? 🥵

Sometimes doing something such as throwing on some pizzas seems like a solution. However, mostly it’s seen as a little tone deaf. 👂🏼

🍕Don’t get me wrong, people love pizza’s, reward and recognition. But there’s a list of things you should be doing when you hear the words “burnt out”.

What should you be doing when you hear this?

✅ Address it. When staff are burning out it’s not usually just one person. It’s a collective. This means your company is at risk of a huge influx of resignations. This becomes a cycle, it puts pressure on new staff and even more pressure on your already burnt out existing staff. 😰

Thank you so much for everyone that has helped make our fundraising for the 2023 Vinnies CEO Sleepout such a success!

Having worked with Vinnies for a few years now I’ve seen first hand how much effort goes into this event and how far these funds actually go.

This truly was an eye opening experience and I hope that sharing this journey with you has raised awareness of ways you may be able to support vulnerable people which doesn’t always need to be financial. Vinnies are heavily operated by volunteers that make these services possible. You could consider volunteering or just starting conversations with people and changing the way we treat people around us.

📢🚨Most people know now that due to the rising cost of living, homelessness in South Australia is sadly becoming a reality for more people than ever.

This year Diamond HR will be participating in the Vinnies CEO sleep out to help raise funds to try and keep our community safe, warm and fed 💎. This means that for one night I’ll be sleeping outside as a part of an eye opening experience to raise awareness of the reality of homelessness. Remember this is our men, women and children sleeping rough or going hungry.

A big thank you to Catherine House - Support for Women Experiencing Homelessness for last’s nights “35th Anniversary Gala”.

Great entertainment and great company. What a wonderful way to raise funds for this sadly needed cause.

It was great to see women who have used the Catherine House services at the lowest point in their life and have come so far from it and are now in such a happy place.

Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful network.

Being a working mum has certainly been a ride. I’ve had so much support from the moment I became a mother from my mentors, supporters and wonderful clients that have been amazingly supportive of all those extra moments that come with running your own business and being a mother.

What a great generation to be in as a parent.

I would like to take a moment for those parents that have had to make huge sacrifices as a parent.

Those that stayed at home and sacrificed work for their babies. Those that had to work and felt immense guilt like they missed out on special moments.

No matter what you did or you do as a parent, you have to make a sacrifice and for that, you are amazing.

I hope that all the mothers, step-mothers, dad’s that have to be a mother and a father and even grandparents have an absolutely smashing day today.

You are loved and you are AMAZING.
