Aboriginal cultural education for ASC staff is one of the priorities of the ASC RAP. This commitment is seen through regular workshops for graduates and general staff participation in classrooms environments. The ASC cultural education program has now been running for over 24 months. Workshop evaluations are showing there is profound impact for individuals who are learning something they never knew or experiences. ASC will be the beneficiary of cultural education. We at Linking Futures are proud of ASC strong commitment to bridge the knowledge and awareness gap of cultural diversity and safety and its application in the workplace.

Linking Futures provides 3 types of the workshops: Our 4 hours initial insight give our clients a brief cultural and history lesson of First Nations Australia from pre colonisations to present day as well as to better two way communication and more.

Over the last few years, Linking Futures has been supporting communities in a variety of different projects, from Cultural Immersion to Providing jobs and everything in between. One of these includes sponsoring sporting teams to help communities come together, be active and healthy and achieve success in the sporting arena.

Our relationship with Southern Adelaide Local Health Network - SALHN is moving into our third year about cultural facilitation program consistent from individuals participating in this program the consistent feedback is “we want to know more””we want to understand connection to country and Australian spirit”.

We at Linking Futures will continue to work with SALHN to bring a culturally safe place for their staff and participants.

Jamie Jungarrayi Hampton, Warlpiri Repatriation Officer at the South Australian Museum, recently had the wonderful opportunity to meet world-renowned British broadcaster and biologist while on a work trip to the UK.

Sir David Attenborough kindly donated his photographs from his trip to Central Australia in the 1960s for Jamie to return to the Warlpiri people, that featured some of their fathers and uncles.
