It is our absolute pleasure today to send out a huge congratulations from the Master Builders GTO to one of our apprentices, Marley Maxine - who is undertaking a second year electrical apprenticeship with McMahon Services Australia Pty Ltd here in SA.
Marley took out the โTradie Lady of Influenceโ Award at the Empowered Women in Trades Gala on Saturday night in Melbourne!
This award is all about the women whose voices, leadership and presence are creating real impact across trades. The women who are not just doing the work, but helping shape the conversation around what trades can look like, who belongs in the room and what is possible for the next generation.
Marley posted about her win on her instagram page;
โStill trying to find the words for this one ๐ฅน๐โค๏ธโฆ getting into the trades hasnโt always been a straight path, and there have been times Iโve questioned myself, but Iโm so proud of the person Iโve become and the journey thatโs brought me hereโฆI started sharing my journey because I wanted to show other girls that thereโs a place for us in the trades, and if this award can inspire even one girl to back herself and give it a go, then it means everything to meโฆ hereโs to more women on site.โ ๐ฆบโก๏ธโค๏ธ
Amazing work, we are so proud of you Marley.
