The team got together for our annual end of financial year lunch on Friday, celebrating another successful year with plenty of good food and drinks at The Strathmore. It was a great opportunity to meet the many new faces from across the company, including team members who flew in from Brisbane and Melbourne, and to recognise the success of the team and the business over the last 12 months.

A peak inside our most recent Lunch and Learn session. The team had the opportunity to delve into Blazor, WebAssembly and gain insights into Progressive Web Applications (PWAs). This was a great opportunity for the team to explore when, why and how to create a PWA, some of the unique features of a PWA and how these applications can work when offline.

Chamonix's Lifeblood Blood Donation Team hosted a morning tea to celebrate Donut Day, and to recognise those team members who have donated blood to help save 42 lives!

This was a great opportunity for Lifeblood Team members to talk to the wider Chamonix community about how donating blood helps others in need, and how every donor can help to save a life.

Say hi to Team Chamonix for the 2023 Push-Up Challenge!🏅💪

It's great to see so many familiar faces again joining this fantastic fundraiser, and a big welcome to the new faces getting behind the challenge for 2023. This is a great opportunity for the Chamonix team to raise awareness of mental health and shine a spotlight on the number of lives lost to su***de.

The team members are off to a great start, supporting each other and sharing their achievements to stay motivated. They're well on their way to raising their target amount and have already completed 1,851 push ups since starting yesterday! Keep up the good work team!

With all the hype around AI, we had a lot of staff keen to find out more at our latest Lunch and Learn session!
Taking a deep dive into the usage of AI tools, this was a fantastic opportunity for the team to delve into the practicalities of using AI successfully.
The presentation covered strategies to wrangle prompts and optimise the results obtained through AI, and demonstrated how to get the most from the tools available with real-time demos. It was a great way to experience first-hand how AI can be applied to a range of everyday scenarios.

Say hi to our food loving, 'Happy Dumplings' Pod! 😊🥟
Members of Chamonix's Happy Dumplings Pod recently came together to connect with people from different teams within the wider organisation - just one way that members of the Chamonix community can build their internal network as we continue to grow our Brisbane and Adelaide offices.
All Chamonix employees have the opportunity to join a Pod that aligns with their interests. It's a great way to connect with colleagues with different skillsets and experiences - and to create opportunities for mentorship, learning, career development, support and camaraderie.

Last night Chamonix had the pleasure of hosting HerTechPath for a session on 'Exploring ChatGPT'. An audience of educators from a broad range of schools joined both in person and virtually, to view an informative presentation from the University of South Australia, joined by Chamonix team member, Mike.

This was a unique professional development session for teachers on the transformative power of ChatGPT in education and the workplace. Topics covered include creativity and AI, how to embed AI into classroom settings using STEM processes such as Design Thinking, how ChatGPT is being utilised in the workplace and how the adoption of AI tools may impact and change workplaces in the future.

Chamonix team members had the opportunity to attended the Prince Alfred College Careers Expo last night, meeting with approximately 400 students from both Prince Alfred College and Seymour College. PAC Old Scholar Jack was with the team to share insights into what it's like to work in tech, and Chamonix's Rob had the opportunity to present to several groups of students to discuss careers in Software Engineering and what the role looks like day to day.
