We recently had the pleasure of connecting with the latest group of resource industry pathways students at Port Augusta Secondary School in South Australia, as they commenced their first week of block training in Port Augusta.

The partnership with OZ Minerals and Career Employment Group will see students complete their Certificate ll in Resource & Infrastructure Work Preparation. This includes a range of practical and theory competencies including working safely at heights, and working in confined spaces, front end loaders and bobcats – just to name a few.

Later this year, students will have the opportunity to fly to our Prominent Hill mine site to immerse themselves in our operations.

OZ Minerals is pleased to announce that the requisite majorities of its shareholders today voted in favour of the proposed scheme of arrangement pursuant to which BHP Lonsdale Investments Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of BHP Group Limited (ASX: BHP), will acquire 100% of the shares in OZ Minerals.
