I’m gearing up to sleep out in the elements for the Soup & Sleep event, and with temperatures forecasted to drop to just 7°C, it’s going to be a cold one. This experience is a small glimpse into the harsh reality faced by many South Australians every night.

Why I’m Doing This:
I'm participating to raise awareness and crucial funds for those experiencing homelessness and severe food insecurity. Every $2 donated provides a meal to someone in need this winter.

This year, on June 6th, I'm thrilled to participate in the fourth annual Soup & Sleep event. We're coming together as a community to tackle a critical issue: homelessness and severe food insecurity in South Australia.

Last year alone, over 150,000 households in our state faced severe food insecurity. A small contribution of just $2 can provide a nourishing meal to someone in need this winter.

On International Day of People with Disability we are honoured to announce our involvement in a once-in-a-lifetime project - Austrade's Accessible Tourism Service Provision Mentoring Pilot Program.

As sub-contractors to Push Adventures, Glashaus Executive Director, Amanda Grocock, will be bringing her expertise in strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and communications to support Push Adventures Co-Founder, Clair Crowley, as she meets with and mentors 110 tourism operators around Australia.

A growing cohort of older travellers, multi-generational families, and people with disabilities means there must be a focus on accessible infrastructure, quality experiences, and a safe environment. This project allows us to analyse the state of the market, influence broad change, and demonstrate an approach which can then be widely adopted by tourism providers of all kinds.

People with disability make up a good proportion of the national tourism spend, but just how well are we serving this sector of the market? Let's find out!

We are delighted to let you know that Gläshaus is gaining the amazing Amanda Grocock as Executive Director, and the face of our business in Adelaide.

Having worked together for three years, it's definitely been a long pilot project, but Amanda (and Colin the cat, pictured below) has decided that it's worth sticking around :)

So, we are looking forward to an expansive new era ahead and a whole lot of opportunity for businesses and not-for-profit organisations as we all try to create a resilient future for ourselves and our communities. Colin (pictured in his bow tie) has always been a wonderful office friend, but the time has come for some formal human collaboration!

After three years of successful business partnership, I am SUPER excited to announce that I have formally joined Sam Taylor (also pictured) at Gläshaus as Executive Director and the local Adelaide face.

Since partnering with Gläshaus, Sam and I have had the privilege of working for some outstanding clients across an incredible array of industries and sectors, assisting with:

Gläshaus is turning 5 and we couldn’t be more excited!!!
Like most small businesses, we’ve changed a lot over the past five years, and so has the world around us. We started before Trump was President, before Greta started spending her days outside the Swedish Parliament to call for stronger action on climate change, and before COVID changed the way we live. But business evolution is never over!
