Another day, another cold shower

Today was a mental battle to turn that hot water off and all the demons that try to convince you that it’s ”only one shower”

When we break the small promises to ourselves like going to the gym 3 x this week, and especially during the small challenges we set to step outside our comfort zone and force our will power to grow we slowly chip away at our self belief and self confidence

These are the moments you need to prove to yourself that you are in control of your body and mind

‘Even when or because of’ - you can either do it even when everything is stacked against you or bs yourself, and give yourself the excuse or “well, because of … I didn’t achieve my goal”

You are the most important person in your life, make sure you trust yourself to do what you will do

FOR THE PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT OPERATING AT THEIR 100%

While motivation can be quite transient, and when things are not going your way it can often last as long as your morning coffee.

Having gone through some lonely, dark and depressed moments in my career and entrepreneurial journey and felt like I was worthless, a fraud and very low self worth, it's often the most simple things that can start that journey back to glory.

Every now and then it's nice to hear some words to strike that glimmer of hope within yourself to start that positive momentum.

Sometimes we need that little bit of inspiration and motivation to start that first Sales meeting, that first phone call and the first day of the week, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Find what you need and allow yourself to move through various stages of motivation and inspiration rather than thinking you should be better and discounting the circumstances that have put you in that position of needing that support.

Back to basics until you are operating at 100% and don't need the extra support.

So many people forget how to get back to their powerful self after going through serious adversity.

They forget how powerful they are and they have forgotten the feeling of winning.

We all need support every now and then but not many will seek it out, they just wait for someone to hand it to them.

Its the end of the week and end of the month for your targets

How you finish this week is how you start next month

If you are taking the extra day and creating a long weekend, enjoy that one but just make sure your head is in the game and not dusty for Monday

DO NOT wreck your first week of February

If you are behind on your normal monthly targets because January was a short month, and you start February dusty and play catch up all month, your lack of performance in Q1 adds more pressure to your whole year and forces your goals and dreams even further behind

Happy Australia Day!!

One of the best countries in the world.

Nothing will ever be perfect so let's stop focusing on all things wrong and just be grateful and appreciative of all those that have gone before us.

To our Grandparents and Great Grandparents leaving everything and their homeland, spending months as sea to arrive in a country where they didn't speak the language, didn't know the culture and have carved their way through the decades to afford us the life we have today.

To those that left our shores on 'the great adventure' to fight for our freedoms, leaving their families and loved ones, dying on foreign soil never to return.

And to those that were here before the First Settlers, the guardians of our beautiful country, we thank you.

One thing we should never lose sight of is the unique aspect that makes us incredible, especially when times are extremely tough, our Aussie Spirit.

Have a great day and just take some time to be grateful.
