I have been reading tarot for several years and have a DIPLOMA of TAROT from TAROT PROFESSIONALS and am currently studying the degree course through the same organisation. I'm often asked how Tarot works, which is a very difficult question to answer - most Tarot readers will have a different explanation! That doesn't mean anyone is right or wrong, it is just our own experience of how things work,
and our own ways of explaining it. To me, we are all part of a web that is interwoven through time and place. All information and knowledge is available through that web that connects everyone and everything. When a Tarot reader uses their cards, they are tapping into that information and knowledge and using the cards to help interpret that for the person who has come for the reading. We all have intuition, so can all access this if we choose to do so, however, sometimes it is easier to talk to someone else with less of a vested interest in the outcome. Psychics also tap into this, but in a more direct way through their senses, and some Tarot readers are also Psychics. The other question I often get is whether the messages from Tarot (or any other form of divining) are set in concrete and are something that you can't change. My answer is that I don't believe so. We all have free will, and are able to make choices that will change outcomes. You should never worry that if you are told something that you can't take a different path and change the outcome. I don't believe that there are too many 'rules' around Tarot readings - things don't have to be done in particular ways, BUT it is really important that the person asking for the reading is genuinely seeking answers. In the future I expect to be offering Tarot courses and possibly Tarot Parties, but more information will come about that as I progress on MY journey. Come along and see me and see where your journey may take you!
