Huge physical/political map of The World produced as a backlit lightbox. The map was made in Adelaide, printed and assembled as a lightbox in Sydney, shipped across the country to Perth and installed at the client's premises.

"The Abel Mountains"
This attractive relief map themed around Tasmania's highest mountain peaks was commissioned by Geographica, a specialist map store in Hobart. It was great working with Andrew and Alison to create what turned into a labour of love printed on paper.

Here's a portion of a large wall map of the Sydney CBD featuring land use classifications based on the cadastral property layer from the NSW Government's SIXmaps data. The map was produced for Knight-Frank Australia, a recognised specialist in commercial property sales and leasing.

"Trim, the Cartographer's Cat"

After her book 'Seafurrers' featuring stories from history about ship's cats who lapped and mapped the World, author Philippa Sandall has created a beautiful little book about the story of one of Australia's greatest maritime explorers and his loyal mate Trim, the cat.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is the opportunity to recreate classic historic maps such as Capt. Matthew Flinders' "Map of Terra Australis" from his voyages of the early 1800s around Australia.

Love it when maps are in the news. All the more relevant in this case because I recently created a custom map for a book being written by a professor at Uni of Sydney on this topic.

Ethiopia's Foreign Ministry apologises for uploading a map onto its official page showing neighbouring Somalia incorporated into its own borders.
