SUPERANNUATION GUARANTEE (SG) 9.5% - Payment cut-off date for July - September quarter is TODAY - 28th October,
Paying any super guarantee contributions after the cut-off date, you will have to lodge a Superannuation guarantee charge statement - quarterly and pay the super guarantee charge.

Nearly the end of the financial year!!!!
Count down is on.
Here are SIX things small business can do for tax deductions in 2014...............
1- Prepay Expenses covering a period of 12 mths or less; like insurance, seminars, training courses etc.
2- Stock up - To get a deduction make sure the supplier invoices prior to 30 June.
3- Contribute to Super BEFORE 30 June. Get the April - June quarter in before financial year end to claim the deduction in 2014
4- Review Assets- write off obsolete, remember the new asset depreciation rules for assets costing less than $6500 can be an immediate write off ( certain rules apply)
5- Review debtors and write off any bad debts.
