Incentive 2 Quit Pilot Program
Program Overview: The Incentive 2 Quit (I2Q) pilot is being undertaken by Preventive Health SA in conjunction with Houd Research to reduce the negative impacts of smoking and va**ng in SA. I2Q is the first government-funded initiative in the world to implement a program based on the evidence that you are 2-3 times more likely to successfully quit smoking if you receive a monetary incentive. The pilot has been specifically designed for the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network by experts in smoking cessation, in collaboration with health professionals and patients. The program additionally features culturally-tailored resources for Aboriginal participants, supported by our close relationship to NALHN Services.
