🎉 Congratulations to Steve F – our May Merch Competition Winner! 🎉

There's something satisfying about proving an old patch still has more to give.

Steve's winning entry featured his 9" GOLDHAWK coil and some great gold recovered while revisiting ground he thought he'd already cleaned out. Instead of moving on, he gave the area another chance - and it paid off.

It's a great reminder that sometimes all it takes is a different coil, a fresh perspective, and a few more swings to uncover what was left behind.

🌍 Detectorist of the Month: Ryan from Norþan-hymbre Treasure Hunters | UK

From hammered coins and relics to peaceful days detecting the fields of Northumberland - Ryan has spent the last 15 years chasing history and enjoying everything the hobby brings with it.

Running both the EQUINOX 600 and 900 with the Coiltek 10x5" NOX coil, Ryan says one of his first finds with the coil was a tiny hammered coin hidden in stubble - and he’s been a fan ever since.

For Ryan, detecting is about far more than just finds. It’s about fresh air, head space, good mates, and the positive impact the hobby can have on mental wellbeing.

just uncovered 381 Roman coins (mostly 3rd–4th century) at what looks like a long-term Roman site. 🏺

Their Coiltek 10×5″ NOX coil’s pinpoint accuracy recovered every single coin in the spread.
