My little budding entrepreneur!
She saw a big bowl of lemons which our neighbours had given to us and she remembered that one time she sold lemonade at our garage sale from over a year ago.
So she saw this as a good business opportunity and set out to make some money!
After squeezing two lemons she quickly realised that she was much better off hiring cheap labour (me) to do it for her. When she noticed that she didn’t have the equipment she needed to contain the lemonade, we had to head to the warehouse (nanas house) to pick up a jug.
When we got home she put her PR consultant (me again) to work to get the message out to the street about her epic lemonade event. Then together with her in-house graphic designer (again,me) she set out to create some catchy signage. All credit goes to her for the slogan “Lemonade Adelaide”.
It was show time! But before she could sell her lemonade she got the hired muscle (also me) to create her a stall, bossing them around, telling them where everything needed to go. Budding project manager perhaps?
Soon it was all systems go and the people flocked from near and far to get a taste of Rayne’s lemonade! She knew right away that she needed staff, so recruited her friend Penny to help with the transactions. Unfortunately though Penny was caught red handed stealing from the till so was banished from behind the table. Rayne decided not to press charges so all is right in the world once again.
As we all enjoyed lemonade (and wine for me) out the front, it was a lovely end to a very busy week. Made even better with Jarrod bringing home chicken and chips for dinner and his mum dropping off some soup and her famous rocky road!
