All hands on deck at St Laurence’s Church in North Adelaide removing the next lot of leadlight panels that are due for restoration 🤩

A sneak peak into the restoration process of the Adare House leadlight panels.
We are working with broken, mismatched and missing pieces of glass and deteriorating lead.
We even had to have our lovely glass painter paint a new piece for us that was smashed to pieces and another painting that was totally missing.
It’s a delicate and long process but we love our work and get it done in the end 💪 😍

Today we are at Adare House in Victor Harbour, South Australia.
We are removing some absolutely stunning leadlight window panels in need of some love and care and restoration.
We’ll have them looking as brilliant as the day they went in 🥰

We were commissioned to make a “Moulin Rouge” inspired leadlight for a lovely new client.
She had a vision as to what she wanted it to look like, so after many discussion and a few variations on the design we came up with these stunning leadlights.
It incorporates stage curtains, stage lights and part of a windmill.
What spectacular leadlights 🤩
The client was over the moon with the final result as are we 😍

This is one of the magnificent door panel leadlights that we restored for Tolarno Station which is located in New South Wales.

We carefully removed and packed four leadlight panels in total and transported them back to our studio in Semaphore Park, South Australia.

The lead was deteriorating and there were many broken and missing pieces of glass.

Back at our studio all the panels received a full restoration. The old lead was removed, the glass cleaned and put back together with new lead.

It’s looking absolutely stunning now 🤩

This federation window came to us in a bad state with broken glass, lead and putty falling out. Our client was about to sell the house soon and needed the window fixed ASAP!!! We got the window fixed and reinstalled ahead of schedule 🤗

A few months ago we completed and installed a copy of E.F. Troy’s stunning leadlight windows for our client. Our client already had these existing windows in another door and we went all out to make sure it looked exactly the same!
