I'm still here. Still inspired. Still passionate. Just sorting the housing (or lack of) situation. This Jane Goodall was one of the very earliest of my litter portraits from years ago. She really lit a fire in my heart that has led me on the most treasure-filled journey. That has led to an explosion of love in me for all things living, to an expanding of my circles including new friends online and off, to a curiosity in animal & plant behaviour right through to the behaviour of materials! This fire lit by such legends has been part of my journey toward patience, observance, presence and connectedness. There's so many inspiring, motivating quotes to choose from, some that I particularly love right now... so pictured are a few. Share your fave with me please so we can celebrate this lady & give each other hope ๐
I'm still collecting LITTERED zipties. LOTS of LITTERED zipties! I'm still loving some absolutely threatened local marine life (hello South Australian Harmful Algal Bloom - FYI... an event increasing globally!), still working on a *sold LITTER sculpture, still teaching about plastic pollution in schools, still connecting to the living world around me.
Prioritising housing only over social media & social full stop. Everything else remains the same on my priority list a.k.a parenting now whilst future-proofing for the generations of life ahead. It's not ideal but I'm nearly "there" (however sh*te Plan D that will look haha). Funny how I always said I didn't care if litterpicking rendered me homeless. Eh. Much love to the friends I cherish here in this space. I miss you. I'm good & I hope you are too.
Jane Goodall will continue to inspire and motivate so many. From the deepest part of my parenting & life-loving heart Jane, thank you! Rest in peace ๐ฆ๐ฆงโค๏ธ
