The Power Trail continues in Canberra. ⚡️

Our next stop takes us to Solar Forever Canberra, where we had the opportunity to chat with Darshil, Director of Solar Forever, and hear the story behind the business and the experience they’ve built over the years.

What started as a conversation about their journey soon led into why they have such strong confidence in Sigenergy, and the role that reliable technology and support play in their day-to-day work. It also gave us a chance to look back at the relationship between Solar Forever and Energy Spurt, and how the partnership has continued to grow through years of working together.

With the Showcar along for the journey, we then got to take that conversation one step further and experience the technology up close. From exploring the solutions to seeing how the Showcar can be used for demonstrations, training and customer experiences, it was another opportunity to bring the technology directly to the people working with it every day.

From getting to know Solar Forever to reconnecting through our partnership and experiencing the technology together, this Canberra stop gave us another story from the road.

The Power Trail reaches Canberra. ⚡️

Our first stop in Canberra takes us to SunBuilt Solar, a Platinum Partner of Sigenergy, where we get a closer look at the business and the partnership they’ve built with Energy Spurt.

We had the opportunity to chat with owner Warren Monsma about SunBuilt, their experience with Sigenergy and what they’re seeing as customers’ energy needs continue to evolve. He also takes us back to the beginning of SunBuilt and Energy Spurt’s relationship, and how the partnership has grown over the years.

The Power Trail continues. ⚡

The Showcar is back on the road, and Joanne from Marketing, Puneet from Sales and Carlvin from Technical Support continue their journey from Victoria towards Canberra.

With plenty of kilometres ahead, there’s still work happening behind the scenes from preparing for the next customer visit and technical discussions to the laughs and moments along the way.

Our next stop takes us to Twin City Electrical & Solar in Victoria, where we interview Harry and hear his thoughts on the Showcar, industry trends and the changing energy needs of Australian households.

From there, we head to a residential end-user handover visit, where we get to see a newly installed Sigenergy system in action, including the SigenStor system and AC Charger. It was a great opportunity to see the finished solution and experience the technology in a real home.

With another great stop wrapped up, the team gets back on the road and makes it to Canberra.

Victoria is where The Power Trail begins. ⚡

The Showcar is packed, the team is ready, and after weeks of planning, it’s finally time to hit the road.

Starting from our Energy Spurt VIC warehouse in Dandenong, Joanne from Marketing, Puneet from Sales and Carlvin from Technical Support begin the journey north towards Brisbane, with our first stop at Watters Electrical in Shepparton.

Before setting off, we take you behind the scenes at our Victorian warehouse and showroom before hitting the road and meeting the team at Watters Electrical. We hear their thoughts and experiences, take a look around their business and share a little of what happens along the way.

We also introduce Ask Emma, our AI assistant for Sigenergy technical support, showcasing another way we’re supporting installers on the road and beyond.

And this is only the beginning.

From Victoria, the Showcar will continue through VIC, ACT, NSW and QLD, meeting installers, customers and partners along the way.

𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝟭𝟬× 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿. ⚡

The Federal Government has announced a major expansion of the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme, increasing the solar eligibility threshold from 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗪 𝘁𝗼 𝟭 𝗠𝗪. The change is expected to commence from 𝟭 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, subject to the necessary regulations being in place.

This could give businesses access to upfront solar discounts on significantly larger systems, helping commercial and industrial sites better match their solar capacity to their operational energy needs.

As an official indicative example, a 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗸𝗪 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 $𝟲𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘂𝗽𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 under the expanded scheme. Actual discounts will depend on the final regulations, system configuration, location, eligibility and certificate values.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆:

• SRES solar eligibility increasing from 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗪 𝘁𝗼 𝟭 𝗠𝗪
• Greater support for larger C&I solar projects
• Lower upfront costs for eligible businesses
• New potential for integrated commercial solar and battery storage projects

For installers, retailers and EPCs, this announcement could unlock a much larger C&I project pipeline and create new opportunities to pair commercial solar with energy storage.

Energy Spurt will continue monitoring the reform and sharing further information as implementation details become available.
