Deep Woods Surveys is a West Australian heritage consultancy company specialising in Australian Indigenous Archaeological and Anthropological services. Our client base ranges from small mining exploration companies, to multinational mining corporations, government departments and private entities.

Hi, I know that is has been quite a while since I last posted on the site. DWS has undergone several changes. The slowdown in business over the last few years has forced us like many other consultancies to downsize. Resulting in the sad loss of both Kellie & Bradie. Since then I have been a sole consultancy securing enough work to get by. Earlier this year, Sheila & I travelled to Scotland & Europe on a wonderful trip. We spent quite a while in Sicily. A country we loved and which I highly recommend visiting. Sadly, my Italian is woeful but I did learn a few useful words and phrases. I have become a grandfather to a gorgeous little boy. All is good down here on the South Coast. It's been the wettest winter I can remember since I've been living down here. It feels like that it has been raining for months. At least Spring will be spectacular down here when it arrives. I'll try not to leave it so long until I post again 😎
