Wakey wakey,. Wake up little apprentice time to go to work. The weather has been cold and paint and oil taking longer to dry. Another farmhouse cupboard nearly finished and instead of painting it in Ivory we changed our mind to Sage.We will post it when completed. In the mean time while the paint is drying we will join our little apprentice. Ahhh such a doggies life,She is worn out watching us work :)

Hi everyone. The farmhouse cupboard for a customer is finished. It has a nice warm blue color with rustic chunky look. The top came out better looking than we thought.

Our house looks like a bird house sanctuary waiting for customers to collect them.A row of them looks like Brighton Beach shacks in Melbourne.We were going to take the pictures down the beach like the real shacks but weather was bad, Still have to make another 23 and another order came for 20 more. Just hope we don't go coo coo making and painting that many :)

Hi Every one. The weather in Albany has been cold and raining and the paint is slow to dry. I hope to have the pictures of the meat safe in a few days once completed.

In the mean time Peter has started on a new project for a customer,, When we were in Tasmania on vacation we went to a few antiques shops (Yeah? A few???.... As if......) and saw a farmhouse cupboard we fell in love with but could not take it with us. The original doors had center panels missing and the owner .replaced the panels with chook wire. This one will have fly screen wire mash. We'll post pictures as it it being made.

Have a pleasant evening and this idea in the picture from pintrest has us hunting for old shovels and forks:)

A sneak-peek snowman for Xmas which is at planning stage. It will be about 60 cm high and about 30 cm wide.

It can stand by a Xmas tree or outside the front door welcoming guests or bolted to a picket fence in the garden. In about mid Nov we will have some for sale at $35 each.

We are currently making a meat safe which was one of our biggest sellers in the past. Cabinet is ready to be painted and stressed.

No matter how many we made we never get tired of the top wood grain which reveals it's own grain and can never be duplicated. Sometimes it gives a pleasant surprise when sanded back.

Greetings to our face book followers.We haven't posted for awhile and it's time to dust the computer and start posing.

We love Albany and met wonderful people, our customers, and we will stay here and keep creating more new things.
