💙 A 50-Year Chapter Comes to a Close 💙

After five incredible decades, our family proudly says farewell to Bevans WA today. What began with Norm Bevan and was carried on by Garry and Glenda has been more than just a business - it’s been our life’s work and our family’s legacy.

From the early mornings to the long days in the factory, we’ve been privileged to work alongside an incredible team - including many who have been with us for 40, 30, even 20 years. Your loyalty, hard work, and friendship have meant everything to us. To the Albany community and the wider fishing industry, thank you for your unwavering support through the highs and the lows - from the heartbreak of the fire and rebuild, to the pilchard losses, and all the challenges in between.

Small business is never easy, but it’s been an extraordinary journey - one that has provided for our family, created lifelong friendships, and filled us with pride.

As we step into retirement, we look forward to embracing every moment of freedom ahead. We are excited to see what the next chapter brings for the new owners and are confident Bevans Seafood will continue to thrive in great hands.

We are currently on the hunt for an Office Manager, ideally full-time with experience but we are open to a part-time role if it's the right fit.

We need someone who is/will be confident in using MYOB AccountRight and who is organised, trustworthy, reliable and able to work autonomously and as part of a team. This person will also deal with end-of-month and financial year processes, reconciliations, banking, wages, online freight bookings and shop sales.

This is a family owned business with a great bunch of people and a casual environment to work in.
