Opening up access around critical infrastructure. ๐ŸŒฟ

Recent vegetation management works across private property, restoring access to power and communications assets while reducing vegetation throughout the corridor.

With rolling terrain and sandy soils, how the vegetation was treated was just as important as removing it.

Rather than pulling vegetation and disturbing the ground, mechanical mulching allowed us to reduce the above-ground growth while retaining much of the existing root structure and minimising soil disturbance.

On country like this, that matters. Keeping the soil structure intact helps maintain slope stability and reduces the potential for erosion and concentrated runoff during future rainfall events.

A good example of combining vegetation management, infrastructure access and asset protection with a treatment method suited to the landscape. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐ŸŒฟ Recent parkland clearing works opening up access around existing fence lines and along the creek.

๐Ÿšœ Slashing back overgrown vegetation has restored access for the owners and, importantly, made it possible to get in and manage established blackberry before it spreads further.

๐ŸŒณ Working carefully amongst the existing trees to improve access and vegetation control while retaining the character of the property.

Good suppliers make a big difference.

A phone call to our Himac rep at 9:00am, and by 10:30am this grapple was fitted up and working in the field.

That kind of support keeps our jobs moving and helps us deliver for our clients without delay.

Thanks to the Himac team for the outstanding service. Looking forward to putting this attachment to work. ๐Ÿ‘

๐ŸŒฟ Years of Sydney wattle growth had gradually taken over large sections of this property, reducing usable land, impacting fence line access, and creating ongoing management challenges.

๐Ÿšœ Over the course of this project we removed extensive wattle infestation, selectively felled trees encroaching on boundaries and powerlines, and opened the area back up for future use.

๐Ÿ”ฅ The result is a cleaner, safer, and more manageable property thatโ€™s ready for the next stage of revitalisation and a return to productive paddocks.

๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ง Drainage brought back under control.

We recently completed clean up works at Great Southern TAFE, removing built up vegetation and silt that was restricting flow and making the area difficult to manage.

The aim was to open the drain back up, improve water movement, restore access along the edge, and leave the site in a condition that can be maintained properly moving forward.

A practical job, but an important one before the next run of wet weather.

๐ŸŒง๏ธ Storm damage recovery

Last seasons rains left sections of this established boundary line heavily washed out, with erosion reaching up to a metre deep in places.

This job was about more than tidying up. It involved restoring access, rebuilding the boundary line properly, and cutting in strategic water diversion points to capture and redirect runoff, helping reduce the risk of future washouts.

Clean, practical work that helps clients recover quickly after weather damage and keep their property infrastructure in shape.

๐Ÿ A tidy up that makes a real difference.

We recently completed a clean up around this local cricket ground, clearing back overgrown vegetation along the boundary and around the practice nets to improve access, presentation and overall usability of the space.

Just as importantly, work like this helps reduce built up fuel loads around community assets. Maintaining boundary areas and surrounds is a practical step in lowering fire risk, improving defendable space and keeping facilities easier to manage heading into the warmer months.

Proud to help keep local spaces in better shape for the people who use them.
