Two weeks ago, Business NSW Riverina Murray went on tour with our Regional Leaders, for a BTS look at Snowy Hydro 2.0.

The 2 day visit began with an evening of networking at Tumut River Brewing Co, including a brewery tour and an introduction to the Snowy Hydro project, before heading to the site the following day to see the project firsthand.

The scale of Snowy 2.0 is incredible. Seeing the project in person really brings home the complexity and ambition of an infrastructure project of this magnitude.

Just as important was seeing the contribution of regional businesses in bringing it to life. Businesses including Roddy Eng and Prefabulous are playing a role in supporting the project, highlighting the capability within our regions and the importance of local procurement in strengthening regional economies and Australian industry.

Thank you to the Snowy Hydro team (especially Sarah Norris and Erin McKnight) for hosting us and providing such valuable insight into the project, and to Dr Joe McGirr MP for joining us as our special guest.

Thank you to all our attendees and Regional Leaders for being part of two valuable days of connection, learning and collaboration.
