A completion date is useful, but it only tells you one part of the story.
To understand how a project is progressing, you also need to look at the time between key stages. When construction started. How long excavation took. How quickly the structure progressed. And how long it took to move from top-off to completion.
That context makes project comparisons more meaningful.
It can help teams identify changes in delivery time, understand where programmes are slowing down and make more informed decisions around planning, feasibility and project delivery.
Because two projects can finish in the same month and still have very different stories behind them.
