Our thoughts are with the Alice Springs business community, including business owners, employees, families and residents affected by last night's severe storm.

Many businesses are dealing with the impacts of damage to commercial premises, disruption to staff homes and properties, and challenges in getting employees safely back to work.

NT Chamber CEO Glen Hingley said:

Applications for the 2026 Innovate with nbn® Australia Grants Program are now open.

Delivered in partnership with the Regional Australia Institute, the program celebrates its seventh year of supporting regional businesses using the nbn® network to drive innovation and create positive social and economic outcomes.

With $125,000 in grant funding available across seven categories, including the new Innovation for Productivity category, businesses have the opportunity to be recognised and rewarded.

Each category winner will receive $15,000, with an additional $20,000 awarded to the overall 2026 Innovate with nbn® Champion.

Categories include:
