☀️SUNDAY FUN-DAY JUMP COMP ☀️

This coming Sunday the 10th of April, join us for a fun day of show jumping! Entries are now open on JustGo! 🐴

This month we wanted to do a fun jump day with some different articles that we haven’t held in a while!

We will have a BBQ, drinks and baked good for purchase - and all proceeds will be going towards a chosen equestrian community that has been effected by the recent floods on the East Coast. So come and support our riders and our interstate friends! 🧁

This event we will be doing a ‘Take Your Own Line’ and a ‘Hit and Hurry’ competition. For those who are a bit hesitant because they haven’t competed or don’t know the rules to these competitions, have no fear! Let’s break it down for you!

Take Your Own Line: It is exactly as it says! You have a course of jumps laid out and YOU must decided the most efficient and safest way the clear each jump!! The rider with the least amount of faults and quickest time wins!!

Hit and Hurry: In this competition, the horse and rider gets two points for every jump that is cleared and one point for every jump that is knocked down - So if you knock a jump there are no faults, just means you might have to go a bit faster to get over more jumps and make up more points! Ergo HIT and HURRY! There is fixed time and once that time has been reached the bell is rung and the horse and rider must then jump the next and final jump. Once you have landed that last jump, the clock is stopped. The rider with the most points and fastest time wins!!

30cm, 45cm, 60cm, 75cm, 90cm and 1m classes. Each height is a maximum. 4 rounds per horse and rider combination - so 2 height for each event.

Contact Sophie Duke or Heidi Kudrenko for any more information or questions.
