Another exciting development from our retail security division! We have officially been appointed as the security provider for Zara across their stores in Australia.

Global retail has changed a lot over the last decade. Stores are as much about brand experience as they are about the product on the shelves, and the security team on the floor is part of how that experience lands with customers.

Brand focused security delivery is at the core of how our retail division operates.

Our approach is built around aligning the way our officers present and engage with the brand they're representing.

A big welcome to Erum, who's just joined our NSW Recruitment team!

Erum has spent years working across both high volume frontline campaigns and specialist recruitment, so she knows how to move fast when it matters and how to slow down when the right person needs to be found.

She's responsive, a great listener and a big believer that great recruitment is all about matching people well, not just ticking a box.

Erum is also a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion and brings that lens into every role she recruits for.

Client feedback is the best kind of feedback.

One of our security officers Haroon Noori received outstanding feedback from our client, recognising his passion for the role and the way he goes beyond standard security duties and looking out for those around him.

State Manager Cam Stuart presented Haroon with a certificate to mark it, with Site Manager Kashif, Client Delivery Manager Patricia and client Nick all there to show their appreciation.

We're really proud of the frontline teams we have out there.

We had a fantastic time at Retail Risk and the Heroes of Retail Risk Awards yesterday, it was a great opportunity to recognise the people behind the work happening across the retail security sector.

Yusuf, our Retail Security Specialist at Coles, took out the win for Community Hero Award! It was very rewarding to see Yusef’s contribution acknowledged, and we’re very proud to have Yusuf representing our team!

We always walk away from this event with new ideas and a better understanding of what is happening across the sector, which feeds directly into how we approach our work with clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Some news we are proud to share ahead of Retail Risk. Yusuf, one of our Retail Security Specialists at Coles Balaclava, has been nominated for a Community Heroes Award.

Yusuf's role at Coles Balaclava is one of our newer purpose built retail security roles, designed to go well beyond what traditional uniformed guarding looks like.

Yusuf has been in the role for six months. In that time he has made a real difference at Coles with not only loss prevention numbers, but in the way he has integrated into the store team and the community around it.

Great result out of Western Australia, our partnership with the City of Perth has been extended across all three service areas we deliver!

The scope covers mobile patrols across 38 car parks throughout the city, foot patrols by our Safe City team operating alongside WA Police in the morning and evening and guarding at Royal Street where a range of providers deliver services to the homeless community.

City of Perth sits within our wider council and government portfolio in Australia, which continues to grow. Across the country we work with a significant number of councils and government clients.

Site visits are one of the most valuable things our management team does.

Our Operations Manager Dan Bown was out at a prestigious gatehouse in Huntingwood this week, spending time with the frontline team who work that site every day and seeing the operation firsthand.

There is a fair difference between managing a security operation and understanding one. Being present on site closes that gap. It is where the real conversations happen and where the small things that never make it into a report come to light.
