To all my South East Queensland followers - we have until tomorrow to complete the Gympie Regional Council survey on recreation areas (link below). If you are like me and really want them to hurry up and build the Mary Valley Rail Trail from Imbil to Amamoor for us to horse ride on please take the time to have your say.

Gympie Regional Council is planning for the future of parks, open spaces, sport and recreation facilities across the region. The Gympie Region Sports Precinct is an important step in planning for the future health, wellbeing and liveability of our community.

I have been blown away at the skill of the horses and riders this weekend at the Darling Downs Working Equitation. Thanks to Nicola Saunders for allowing me to share this video of one of her runs this weekend, I thought some of my followers would be interested in checking out this wonderful sport

We are all set up at Toowoomba Showgrounds for the Darling Downs Working Equitation - if you like to support small Australian businesses come say hi, I make everything myself in my little workshop in Amamoor, near Gympie.

Sittin Pretty will be attending this event with the stall this weekend, come say hi and learn a little more about this sport - I know I'm excited to check it out!

We are running a 3 phase working equitation competition at the Indoor Equestrian centre at Toowoomba Showgrounds this weekend.
Spectators are most welcome. If you interested to come and see what working equitation is all about drop down during the weekend.
Timetable for the event
Saturday
8.30am to 12pm Dressage phase all levels
2.30pm - 5pm Obstacle style phase Prelim to Consagrados 2

Sunday
8.30am - 12.15pm Obstacle style phase Preparatory and Introductory
1.15pm - 3pm Speed phase all levels
