The community is invited to pay respects on Anzac Day this Saturday, to honour Australians who have served in wars, conflicts, peacekeeping or other operations.

6.00am - Reflection @ memorial wall - Cameron Road park, followed by gunfire breakfast @ Anglesea Bowls Club

Service March commences at MEMORIAL HALL 9.45am - McMillan Street and continues into Murray Street where the Anglesea RSL Commemorative Service will commence at 10am.

Service will be followed with fun & friendship in the RSL memorial garden.

Anglesea Community Christmas is on Friday, 19th December around the main shopping village.

Christmas Carollers, courtesy of Anglesea Combined Churches, will start ‘roving’ 🎶 along the street from 3pm and return to the Community Christmas tree 🌲 (outside the new ‘Salty Crew’ shop next to Oaks Bakery).

Postie Cam will be there with Santa’s Mailbox and a very special man🎅will make an appearance on a fire truck 🚒 courtesy of the wonderful volunteers at Anglesea Fire Brigade.

Get on down to support your local businesses and for some festive fun.

Anglesea welcomes competitors and supporters of Rapid Ascent’s Anglesea Race - The Trail Running Series.

This is a morning event with over 1000 runners from 7am to 1pm.

Registration & Event Centre at Four Kings car park.
Registration - from 7am

Race start on Anglesea Main Beach from 8.20am (27km, 15km, 8km, 4km races)

Presentations at Event Centre 11am-12noon

Anglesea welcomes competitors and supporters to our beautiful town and explore our wonderful variety of shops, cafes and restaurants.

Shopping precinct car parks. 🚙

Council are mostly motoring all timed zones.

All day parking for shop staff in Murch Crescent and in front of bowling club.
Car parking permits in front of bowling club are required (available at the Newsagency).

Private car park behind Anglesea Shopping Village (behind IGA) strictly for village shop keepers only.

Let’s help keep the car parks available for customers who support our local businesses who in turn support our fabulous town. 🤗

We encourage everyone to have their say.

We are working on redesigning the Anglesea McMillan Street Hub to better meet community needs. The next round of engagement activities are planned for May/June 2024.
