This is Zindzi / OKENYO 🇰🇪🏳️‍🌈 and we’re officially joining the Zindzi fan club.

Director. Musician. Actor. Writer. Creative leader. Long-time Play School presenter. NIDA graduate. And increasingly one of the voices helping shape what the future of Australia’s creative industries could look like.

Zindzi joined us at Bambuddha Studios for an upcoming episode of Project Good Boss ,and what struck us wasn’t just the extraordinary body of work behind her.

Some days you look around the studio and think… how did we get this lucky?

Today, we had the absolute privilege of welcoming Wendy McCarthy AC into Bambuddha Studios, pictured here alongside the brilliant Sarah Rosenberg, founder of With You We Can.

👑Wendy has spent more than five decades helping reshape Australia.

*A pioneering feminist and activist.
*A founding member of Chief Executive Women.
*A driving force in the Women’s Electoral Lobby.
*A former Deputy Chair of the ABC.
*A former Chancellor of the University of Canberra.
*A lifelong advocate for reproductive rights, children, education, early learning and women’s leadership.

🥇And in 2025, Wendy was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) for eminent service to children and youth, health, the arts, business, community and women’s leadership.

There are people who talk about changing systems. And then there are people who have spent a lifetime actually changing them.

What a joy to have Wendy in our little corner of the world today and even better to see two generations of formidable women, Wendy and Sarah, standing together in our studio.

This is exactly why we built this place. 💜
